Solar Photovoltaic (PV)

Maharishi Solar had set up a modern, vertically integrated manufacturing facility at Mruthyunjayapuram Village, Bucchi Naidu Kandriga Mandal, Srikalahasti, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh (INDIA) for the following products:

  • Multicrystalline Ingot/Solar Wafer
  • Multi & Mono-crystalline Solar Cells
  • SPV Modules
  • SPV Systems

The facility includes :

  • A silicon ingot casting and wafer production line for the production of high quality Multi-crystalline Silicon Wafer
  • A Solar Cell line for the conversion of silicon wafers into cells
  • A module production line for the assembly and lamination of solar cells into modules.

The plant and machinery had been procured from M/s G.T. Solar, USA on turnkey basis. It has all the features of state of the art technology for the production of high-efficiency, cost-effective Solar Cells and Modules of different specifications.

Maharishi solar is the only Company in India having expertise & technology for manufacturing Multicrystalline Wafers and is the first company in India to produce Solar Photovoltaic Modules with Multicrystalline Cells.

Maharishi Solar has manufactured various grades of solar cells, allowing it to produce a range of SPV Modules. Commercial production started in April 2001.
